Total Quick Strip is an environmentally friendly, heavy duty, professional high performance paint/coatings stripper. Total Quick Strip is a non-hazardous, water-based, ultra low V.O.C. stripper that can be used for interior and exterior applications. Total Quick Strip does not contain methylene chloride, MEK, NMP, or any other harsh chemicals, therefore making it more user friendly than strippers historically used for the same purposes. Total Quick Strip will aid in removing multiple coats solvent based acrylic, water based latex, urethane, varnish, lacquer, adhesives, and other floor finish build-ups.
Total Quick Strip is available in Two Variations for various application methods:
- Total Quick Strip M/L (Multi-Layer) (#770) is a rollable version that is ideal for projects that require more than one layer to be removed.
- Total Quick Strip S/R (Sprayable-Rollable) (#780) is a sprayable version that is ideal for most stripping projects.
PREPARATION:
Test an area to determine effects and dwell time before use. Always work in small, manageable areas. Pre-clean area and allow to dry prior to application. Protect all plants and vegetation. Mask off all surfaces that you do not want Total Quick Strip ML to come in contact
with. Do not dilute.
APPLICATION:
Shake well before use. Do not dilute. Apply Total Quick Strip ML liberally to a dry surface with a brush, roller or squeegee and allow to dwell a
minimum of 30 minutes. Depending on the temperature, type of coating, and number of coats, dwell time will vary from 30 minutes to 12 hours.
Do not allow product to dry before removing coating. Cover areas you do not want stripped cover with plastic or visqueen. Once Total Quick
Strip ML has started to lift coating from surface, scrape off residue and dispose of according to local, state, and federal regulations. Once coating
is removed be sure to clean the surface area of all remaining residues by scrubbing, rinsing, power washing, etc. Some coatings may require additional applications and dwell time.
COVERAGE:
Coverage will vary due to the type of coating/product being removed, temperature, and application methods, but is generally between 50-150 Sq Ft. per gallon.
CLEAN UP:
Clean up all equipment with warm soap and water or denatured alcohol.
To treat contaminated soil, dilute 1 pound of baking soda in 5 gallons of water and apply to the ground at a rate of approx. 75 sq. ft. per gallon. After 1-2 hours, saturate the soil with water. Saturate with water 2-3 time per week for 1-2 weeks.
