Impruneta Clay Shaped Entirely by Hand
Clay is pressed by bare hands into single wooden moulds. After drying, every brick is handled again and its edges are trimmed with a knife. Terracotta powder and sand placed beneath the mould create the natural, warm light-red colour and opaque, irregular surface of the Tradizionale finish.
